Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation, with the Sacrament of Baptism and the Sacrament of the Eucharist, is one of the Sacraments of Initiation. To be fully initiated into the Catholic Faith, the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary.
Confirmation ratifies our Baptism, roots us more deeply in love, unites us more closely to Christ, increases in us gifts of the Spirit and binds us more deeply to the Church. In Confirmation, we receive a special grace to live our faith more fully and be witnesses to what we believe as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Sacraments are signs of God’s grace at work in our lives, but even more importantly, they actually bring us the grace that they signify. The washing of Baptism actually washes our soul clean of sin, the vows of Matrimony actually join the man and the woman to one another, and so on. Come celebrate the Sacraments at St. John Nepomucene.
